Effects of Link Arrangements on Search Efficiency

CREDITS

Group Dynamics: although the project members had specific areas they developed, prepared or wrote, all members contributed to each area. One person would write a section and the other members would edit and comment for corrections, mo dificiations, additions or deletions. Without the input of all project members, the project would not have the found the balance necessary for a well-rounded report and experiment.

Jon Dietrich gave input to the inital experiment design, set up the web page to present the paper, researched and designed a Visual Basic timer which was not used, created the class presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint, and wrote the introduction section of this report.

Karen Gordon typed the proposal, created the six Web pages, completed the pilot study and resultant report, prepared the references, multi-purpose form and materials list for the experiment. Karen co-conducted the experiment and prepared the statistical data. She then created bar charts and a polygon graph using the data. Finally, she was responsible for completing the abstract, part 2 - Experiment, part 3 - Results, Acknowledgements, References, and Appendices.

Marc Wexler participated in initial design, co-conducted experiments, interpreted results, wrote the discussion section and conclusion section of this report and wrote a 1,2-way ANOVA program (C++ for UNIX).
