Fisheye Table Overview
Structure
Like a spreadsheet, the Fisheye Table organizes
data into columns and rows. Rows nears
the cursor have larger size than rows farther from the cursor. Each row is a unit, and each column is an
attribute that each unit has. The
attributes of State and Station indicate the position of a Unit in the tree.
Interaction
When you move the cursor up or down the gray
column, all the rows will change size so that the rows closest to the cursor
are largest. When you move the cursor
up or down the white columns, the rows do not change size.
You can sort the rows by any single column from least to greatest by clicking on the gray header at the top of the column with the left mouse button. You can only sort in ascending order, and you can only sort by one column at a time.
