Subjects

Our subject pool consisted of eighteen University of Maryland students ranging in age from twenty to twenty-four. Most of the test subjects majored in computer science. Familiarity with the web and Netscape was pretty high among the people tested. There were only five females in the subject pool. Subjects were assigned randomly to different treatments.
