Mark Muto was responsible for suggesting that the experiment's software be an email client. Mark also developed the first version of the email client software in Java (in an effort to allow the experiment to be fully platform independent).



Ed Chidester was responsible for: (everything else)

  • Developing the second version of the email client software in Visual Basic (after giving-up on writing output to a file with the Java code)
  • Performing the experiment on subjects (after a small pilot study)
  • Performing the Statistical Analysis
  • Researching the history behind feedback studies
  • Writing the contents of the web pages shown here (not responsible for the SHORE '99 format, graphics, and frames)
