Borrowing Funky Graphics 1) On the Web, find a funky graphic. 2) Using the mouse, put the cursor over the graphic and click down on the RIGHT side of the mouse. 3) Holding down the right side of the mouse, select "Copy Image Location". 4) Next, open up your Otal account and move to your public directory (type "cd pub[tab]" and return). 5) At this point, type "lynx [URL of image]" (Hint: instead of typing in the URL, select Edit and then Paste.) Return. 6) The screen will say "D)ownload or C)ancel". Type "d" to download graphic. 7) Enter "return" or "enter" key to "save to disk". 8) Enter "return" or "enter" key to save as filename. (Important: Note the name of the image. This is a tricky process. Not all browsers will read your size attributes. And you must designate size attributes that pretty much follow the original height and width proportions of your graphic or else you'll distort the image. When you access the Document...Info for a particular image, the page will tell you the dimensions of the picture--just repeat those values or reduce them proportionately.
