Faculty can get help working with ELMS, creating podcasts and Camtasia recordings, setting up a Wiki, and other tasks. This is unstructured development time where one-on-one assistance will be available to participants.

Learn how to request a wiki on the University's Mediawiki server and use the wiki features, as well as discuss ideas for fostering team-building and collaboration among students via the Wiki environment.

Teaching with Wimba Live Classroom and Voice Tools (LTI)

Wimba Live Classroom is a real-time virtual classroom environment that enhances distance education, hybrid classes, and collaboration activities. The environment supports audio, video, application sharing, presentations and whiteboarding, and it is a tool readily available within ELMS (powered by Blackboard) course spaces. In addition, Wimba voice tools enable faculty to extend the usefulness of such tools as Announcements, E-mail, and the Discussion Board with the integration of voice.
