Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference

The Innovations in Teaching and Learning (ITL) Conference showcases and celebrates the creativity and dedication of University instructors who have demonstrated excellence in their teaching endeavors. Co-sponsored by the Division of Information Technology Learning Technologies and Environments group and the Center for Teaching Excellence, the conference feature two internally renowned keynote speakers, presentations by University of Maryland instructors, and is free to the instructional community.

The 2010 conference will feature two keynote speakers: M.S. Vijay Kumar, Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Director Office of Educational Innovation and Technology, MIT, whose breakfast plenary presentation will explore open source technologies and where they are leading academia.
