Canvas gives instructors the ability to connect many external tools to their ELMS course space. In this webinar you will learn how to add external tools such as YouTube and Kahn Academy and the steps for adding them to your course site.

Creating an Assignment with Multiple Section-Based Due Dates

In this Webinar, we will create one Canvas assignment with two due dates; one for a particular class section, and one for everyone else in the class. We will also explore how Canvas allows you to create a different due date for each section of the class within a single assignment.

Fall Course Migration and Rebuilding

The Fall courses from the previous two terms have been migrated to Canvas. This webinar will demonstrate what a migrated course looks like in Canvas and help you get started with course development.

The Learning Technologies staff will also be available to answer questions regarding the migration process or specific migration questions concerning your course.

Using the Grade Submission Tool

As of March 6, you will be able to submit your grades from within the ELMS Management Tool (EMT) set using the Submit Grades tool. The tool will allow you to view grades for each course, adjust the scheme if needed, and submit the grades to UMEG. In this webinar Learning Technologies staff will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
