Managing Group Membership in ELMS with the “Sign-up” Tool

The ELMS group management tool enables instructors to create randomized and hand-picked groups, but it doesn’t offer students the flexibility to determine personal preference for participation. The “Sign-up Tool” enables instructors to define group objectives (be it office hours or research topic preferences), as well as to establish a sign-up period and to determine the number of places on a reserve list. Sign-ups can be created as a single list or as a batch group of lists.
