Jing is a free tool that can be used to capture a user's computer screen--both screen shots and actions, including narration. Screencasts captured with Jing are brief and can be saved locally or to the Screencast server.

Podcasting has had a revolutionary impact on formal and informal teaching and learning. Rising out of the advent of the Apple iPod, podcasts have grown into the mainstream of online media since early 2004.
