Print-friendlyPrint-friendly

Web 2.0 technologies are quickly becoming a phenomenon in education: Facebook, Wikipedia, Blogs, YouTube, iTunesU, RSS. However, what does Web 2.0 mean to education? How can we incorporate this new technology into teaching and learning?

Come join us for an interactive discussion on the role of Web 2.0 technology in instruction and learning. Dr. Teng Li, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, will talk about what differentiates Web 2.0 from Web 1.0. Nicole Cottrell, from the R. H. Smith School of Business, will share how the QUEST Honors Fellows program has used Web 2.0 tools in and out of class.
