Connect to a Media Server with Integrated WebDAV

1. In the Finder, click on the Go menu and then select Connect to Server.
   
   
2. In the Server Address field, enter the URL (https://dav.webhosting.umd.edu/streamingmedia/<YourDirectoryID> [1]) for the WebDAV server, then click Connect. (Note: if you are uploading files to podcast.umd.edu, the server administrator will provide you with the correct URL to type into this field.)
   
   
3. Next, you will see a Verify Certificate pop up window; click on Continue.
   

   

4. In the WebDAV File System Authentication window, type in your Directory ID and password in the Name and Password fields, then click OK.
   
   
5. A network drive icon will appear on your local computer desktop indicating you have connected to the server successfully. Double-click on the icon to activate your connection. You can now upload and download files to this folder by dragging and dropping files.
