In the classroom, an audience/learner response system allows all audience members to participate in presentations or lectures by submitting responses to questions using a response device ("clicker"). The clicker presentation software (TurningPoint), integrates 100% with Microsoft PowerPoint software making it easy for presenters to include interactive question slides with regular presentation slides.
The campus technology classrooms are equipped with TurningPoint software and receivers. Use of the system is available at no charge to all instructors or staff. Participants (students), will need to purchase the clicker response devices, which are available through the University bookstore, or use a web-enabled device like a laptop or smartphone.
