Wimba Live Classroom

Introduction

Wimba Live Classroom is a real-time virtual classroom environment designed for distance education and collaboration which support audio, video, application sharing, content display, and whiteboarding. The Wimba Live Classroom Building Block allows faculty to create fully-featured live virtual classrooms in a content area in ELMS (powered by Blackboard). Faculty can now use this classroom environment to hold live, online classes, office hours, guest lectures and meetings in their ELMS course spaces.

Getting Started With Wimba Live Classroom

What you need:

--A computer with internet connection (better than dial-up.)

--At least speakers. We highly recommend a headset. You will also need a microphone if you need to speak in the session.
