The Guide to Usability for Software Engineering is a collection of pages created by the University of Maryland, Masters of Software Engineering, Fall 98, Usability Engineering class (MSWE 613). The collection is intended for software engineers and usability engineering practitioners to find relevant resources on the Web. We have divided the collection into a top level page, which serves as an entry point, and ten subsections that contain content:
|
These subsections each have their own page and collection of links relevant to their respective subjects. Each subsection is color coded with it's own color motif which is maintained throughout the GUSE collection. The list of color-coded links appears on the left hand side of each page in the GUSE set.
Also on the left hand side of each page is a link pointing to a mailto URL (a link directly connected to an email address) that directly associates the author or maintainer of the page with the reader. This link is called Email Us.
We appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have on the usability of this collection. Most of these pages are maintained by the Fall 98 MSWE613 GUSE Editorial Board (mswe613-guse@python.org). There are also a page which describes the way in which the GUSE pages were created, and a page that lists names and email addresses of people associated with the GUSE project.
I hope you enjoy this sight as much as we did creating it!
