Wimba Classroom

Wimba Classroom is a real-time virtual classroom environment designed for distance education and collaboration. Faculty can now create fully-featured live virtual classrooms in ELMS to hold office hours, guest lectures and meetings in their ELMS course spaces (r [1]equesting an ELMS course space [1] if you don't already have one.)

The features of Wimba Classroom include two-way audio and video, application sharing, MP4/MP3 downloads of room archives, support for Internet Explorer 8, and Firefox 3.0/3.5, and whiteboarding, etc...

Getting Started With Wimba Classroom 1. Assess your computer Visit our Technical Requirements [3]page to make sure you are using the right equipment. Run the Setup Wizard [4]to make sure your computer is properly configured to run the Live Classroom. 2. Purchase a headset with microphone if you don't have one.
