Using Wikis, Blogs and Journals to Enhance Collaboration
Wikis, blogs and journals have provided new opportunities for students to engage and collaborate with each other. For this brown bag discussion, we have invited faculty who have been using wikis, blogs and journal to discuss and explore the pedagogical uses of these tools.
Dr. Michelle Rowley from Department of Women’s Studies will share her strategies for implementing wikis and blogs to foster class collaboration and communication. Dr. Jean Louise Snell from Department of Curriculum and Instruction has been using wiki pages as a substitution for final group presentations. She will demonstrate the unique ways she uses wikis in her course. They will also share challenges and lesson learned.
No registration is required.
Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is open for all faculty and staff who enjoy participating in a lively discussion.
