Blended/Hybrid or fully online course design consultations
Our blended/hybrid and online course consultations are meant to be broader in scope and more in-depth than our basic technology and strategies consultations [3]. The sessions consist of at least one, but usually more, meetings to assist you through the process of designing a blended/hybrid or online course.
On average, the entire process of designing and developing an online or hybrid/blended course requires six to nine months. Depending on the scope of your project and timeline, instructional design guidance will be provided free or as fee for service. Course site components and media production are provided as fee for service.
The Learning Technologies consulting approach consists of four primary phases outlined in our Instructional Design Consulting Process [4].
The instructional design staff are located on the fourth floor of the Computer and Space Sciences building (newer wing). They are happy to meet with you in either your office or theirs. For more information or to schedule a meeting, please email learningtools@umd.edu [6].
