To connect for transferring files to and from the Teaching Theater file server, double click on the WS_FTP32 icon.
 
   
 
    When the FTP program connects, you will be given a Session Profile window.
 
    The following fields should be filled as follows in the Session Profile Window:
 
      -Profile Name: TTCLASS
-Host Name: ttclas.umd.edu
-Host Type: Automatic Detect
-User ID: *Your Teaching Theater Novell login ID*
-Password: *Use your password for this*
 
    Everything else should be left blank.
 
   
 
    Select the OK button and you will get a WS_FTP32 ttclass.umd.edu window.
 
 
 
    You will get a WS_FTP32 window. The left side shows the files and folders of the computer you are on and the right side shows the files and folders of your Novell account.
 
   
 
    From the WS_FTP32 window, select the file you want to transfer from the left side and the folder you want to transfer to on the right side.
 
    Use the right arrow in the middle of window to complete the transfer.
 
   
 
 
 
    From the WS_FTP32 window, select the file you want to transfer from the right side and the folder you want to transfer to on the left side.
 
    Use the left arrow in the middle of window to complete the transfer.
 
   
 
 
 
    You are able to transfer multiple files at one given time by using either the control key or the shift key. Hold down the control key to select specific files you want to transfer or you can use the shift key to select numerous files at one time. After doing so, you can use either the right arrow to send or the left arrow to receive the files to or from the Teaching Theater file server.
 
 
 
    You are able to browse and change the directories you are given access to. You can use the top 3 buttons to do so.
 
   
 
 
 
    You are able to select what type of transfer you want by selecting from one of the options.
 
   
 
 
 
    If you should need any assistance, you could select the help button on the botton of the WS_FTP32 window.
 
   
 
 
 
    After you are through transfering all the files, you can exit WS_FTP32 by selecting the close button...
 
   
 
    and then the exit button.
