I guess, every work is mutable, at least, on its path to disintegration. I was just hoping for a "trapped in amber" or even "sand castle before tide" grasp for a time. Oh well, if I ever finish my SJ "bootleg" I'll clue the interested faction of this herd into its "release."

A question about traces and paratexts: would the poster image and its reproduction in a blog entry count as paratexts of the textual event? If so, are they considered traces? Regardless, I call upon readers to appreciate the finesse of Matt's formulation "vanishing trace" i.e. not vanished i.e. in the process of vanishing.

Oooo the fine line between an inscription and its inscribing. !!
