To Blog or Not to Blog?

Live, fri\om the MITH conference table . . .

Update: Slides here. I'm going to leave the flutzed keystrokes above, a nod toward the, um, materiality of the moment. Anyway, the talk was fun. Great turnout (25-30, standing room only). Tanya, thanks for the good feedback--I really look forward to the blog. George, thanks for the realtime reply--sorry I didn't see it while we were at the table.

To comment or not to comment? Live from my office in Kansas City, Missouri, where another round of tornados may or may not hit today.

The idea that a comment sits here forever and can be called up willy-nilly is a little frightful--especially when you use the words willy-nilly. Someone could be led to believe you use the words willy-nilly a lot. I just wanted to say it was a wonderful talk. I plan to start a blog this summer based primarily on Professor Kirschenbaum's final assertion "to blog." Blogging, he noted, is about conversation, communication, and community--important issues at at a crazy time.
