ENGL 467: Computer and Text (Fall 2004)

Mark Saporta's Composition No. 1 (posted 21 September 2004)" ?>

Here's a detailed description of a reading of Mark Saporta's recombinant novel Composition No. 1, which Marie-Laure Ryan cites as perhaps the only actual example of a Complete Graph. The description, incidentally, is by Nick Montfort, whose work we'll be encountering again during the semester.

I was surpised Composition No. 1 might be the only example of a Complete Graph out there. I'm not sure what structure the text from the course packet "The Babysitter" has, but Composition No. 1 seems to be most similiar to "The Babysitter" out of what we've read thus far in terms its of flexibility, characters appearing from beginning to end of the story, and being able to shuffle the text and have it still make sense.
