Flash: Art Spiegelman at Politics and Prose

Spiegelman will discuss and sign copies of In the Shadow of No Towers Tuesday, September 21, 7 p.m. at Politics and Prose bookstore here in town.

I just bought his book from borders while I was shopping for classes. Wouldn't mind getting it signed and talking to him (I liked Maus). It all depends on if I can get off work in time. If so, I'm gonna need to hitch a ride... any takers?

my father is a big fan of Spiegelman and introduced me to him through the Maus books.
I actually emailed Politics & Prose about the signing and they told me that he is only signing copies of the new book, In the Shadow...
I had planned to bring my dad's books for him to be signed, but i guess Spiegelman doesn't want to be bogged down signing endless books.
Just to let you know...
oh yes...and let's all talk after class, whoever wants to go, and figure out who should drive, etc.

Hmm... nothing like realizing at 9:35 that you really meant to go to something that's already over... did anyone manage to make it there? Any reports?
