Denise's Home Page

Hi! My name is Denise Logsdon, and I am a freshman at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am an Early Childhood Education major, and am taking sixteen credits this semester. I am originally from Cumberland, MD and graduated from Allegany High School where I was a member of the award winning marching band.
Here at school, I am a member of The University of Maryland Drumline. I am also a big fan of Maryland Basketball,and try to watch every game. One of the things that takes up a lot of my time lately is Tau Beta Sigma, the sorority that I an pledging. I am also an avid skier, and my favorite place to ski is Seven Springs, PA. I also like taking pictures and have my camera with me almost all of the time.

The classes I am taking this semester are pretty interesting. One of my classes is American Studies 205. In this class we learn to read objects as sources of insight about American culture.
