      The camera is probably one of the greatest inventions ever made. The ability to capture real life people and objects in a photograph is amazing and very interesting to study. The purpose of this examination is to explore just one aspect of still cameras- the Kodak Still Cameras. Specifically focusing on the time period between 1937 and 1945.

      Within this exhibit you will find information on the Kodak Company, important Kodak Milestones between 1935 and 1945, the basic elements of all Kodak cameras, and how working families in Greenbelt, Maryland used the Kodak cameras between 1937 and 1945.
