Greenbelt continues its tradition of community action and community newspapering today with the Greenebelt News Review, which is the direct decendant of the Greenbelt Cooperator.

The city's daily newspapers, now just The Washington Post and The Washington Times, now have sections targeted to the suburbs, but community newspapers like the Greenbelt News Review remain strong.
