In 1937, Greenbelt was formed as the ideal planned community on a tract of land just outside Washington. The citizens of the community were carefully chosen, and they were expected to be active in their community.
Late in 1937, A group of citizens founded the Greenbelt Cooperator. The Cooperator was borne of Greenbelt community activism. This is its story.
