As a 22 year old American Studies major at the University of
MD, I am exploring this facet of American society (the Single Working
Women of 1970's Television), not only to fulfill the requirements for my
AMST 450
class, but to satify my own curiosities. I have an over whelming
facination of the enormous power and influence of the television world and
therefore, thought that this would be an interesting way to study the
