To explore
the single working woman in 1970's television,
I have chosen one episode,
in which to analyze,
from each of the three television programs.
While this is a relatively
small sample
and in no way can provide information on all
of the female characters on TV,
it should at least provide a small clue
in to some of the images
that were found on the
television screens in the 1970's.
