Extra Credit Opportunity:
Critique of Virtual Greenbelt Website

Please provide a critique of the Virtual Greenbelt website. We are most interested in the question "how can we improve the site?" We would like your opinion on one or more of the following questions.

How useful was the site as a resource for your project on Greenbelt? Which parts did you use? Which parts were hard to use? What kinds of information would you have liked to have added to the site?

How well do the exhibition parts of the site work as virtual exhibitions? What would make them better? What kinds of exhibitions or projects did you like best or find most useful of informative? What kinds of projects would you like to see added in the future?

How could we improve the organization or navigation around the site? For those of you w/a lot of expertise in building websites, what would you recommend we do to improve the site in technical terms?

Please choose any of the main components of the site--image banks, oral histories, student projects, slide show, syllabi and their linked projects--and provide a critique of them.

This extra credit project will be due on the first wednesday after the last day of class--Wednesday, Dec. 17th. Please give us a hard copy of your critique. The extra credit will be calculated into your homework/class participation grade. More credit will be given for more thorough and higher quality critiques.
