Daphne Pee's comparison
of
the architectural styles seems to concure with mine. She states that the
Greenbelt home is a model "Popular from 1925 to 1940..." and that several
later models of homes have since become the norm, including her own living
space.
Sara Headman's project
also similarly compares to mine. She stresses the fact that due to
several reasons, including the depression, the Greenbelt community is in a
sense unique from any modern community.
In his project, Brian
Myers disagrees with the notion that all new housing is dissimilar to
the Greenbelt home. He feels his "knox box" has many of the same
characteristics of the museum and this could be due to the fact that
they were sold to people not perceived as having much money (students
and low income families).
