Greenbelt 50th Anniversary Slide Show

On September 30, 1937, the first five families moved in. Within two years' time, Greenbelt was the home of almost 900 families. The first Greenbelters came from all across the nation, most of them to work for the federal government. Their names were chosen from a long list of applicants.
