204–205. David Chaplin was born in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, U.S.A., on Sunday, March 5, 1748/9, and died Baltimore, Vermont, U.S.A. Prudence Pierce was born on Wednesday, November 14, 1753, and died Baltimore, Vermont, U.S.A. He is the son of David and Mary (Bradstreet) Chaplin. They had four children:

i.	Lucy Chaplin was born in Lunenburg on November 17, 1775, and died in Baltimore, Vermont, U.S.A.. She married Joshua Martin.
ii.	David Chaplin was born in Lunenburg on October 9, 1778, and died in Baltimore on July 27, 1842. He married Lydia Pierce.
iii.	Prudence Chaplin was born in Lunenburg on July 9, 1780, and died in Baltimore. She married Lyman Litch.
iv.	James Chaplin [#102]: He was born in Lunenburgh Township, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on July 6, 1784, and died in Washington Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, on May 6, 1865.
