21152–21153.  David Lloyd ap Ellis of Plas-yn-Yale, Llandegla, North Wales was born in Wales. Gwenwhyfar Lloyd of Llwynymaen, Wales was born in Wales. He is the son of Ellis ap Griffith and Margaret Jenkyn. She is the daughter of Richard Lloyd. They had seven children:

i. John Yale [#10576]: He was born about 1490.
ii. Griffith Lloyd: He was a doctor.
iii. Thomas Yale, LL. D.: Prebendary of St. Asaph, July 7, 1564; Dean of the Arches, and Chancellor of Bangor. He was also Chancellor of Matthew Parker, Archbishop of Canterbury. He died in 1577.
iv. Hugh Lloyd: He was Alderman of Oswestry.
v. Roger Lloyd op Ellis: of Brynglas Lloyd, county Denbigh, Wales, called "Mr. Ellis", who was Secretary to Cardinal Wolsey, married Katherine, daughter of William ap Griffith Vychan, Lord of Kymmer-yn-Edeirnion, and a baron of Edeirnion, qui vixit June, 15 Henry VIII., 1525, and was father of John Wynne ap Roger Lloyd, of Caedwrig, ancestor of the Lloyds of Plas Einion, Bryn Eglwys, etc.
vi. Jane Lloyd: she married first, Edward Trevor, Brynkynnalt, county Denbigh; second, John Hammer.
vii. Ellen Lloyd: She married Robert Lloyd of Halghton.
