26322633. William Bradley, (Sir) was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England, in April, 1597. Joanna Waddington was born in Bingley, Yorkshire, England, about 1601, and died in 1634. He is the son of William and Agnes (or Angeta) (Margates) Bradley. They had four children:

His second marriage was to Elizabeth _____. She was born about 1610, and died in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut, in January, 1683. They had five children:

| ii. | Daniel Bradley was born in Yorkshire, England, in 1635, and died in December, 1658. He never married. | |

| iv. | Nathan Bradley [#1342]: He was born in Bingley in 1638, and died on March 10, 1713. | |
| v. | Stephen Bradley was born in 1642, and died on July 20, 1701. He married first Hannah Smith on 1 Nov 1663. He married second Mrs. Mary Leete. |
After William Bradley died, Elizabeth married John Paralee on November 8, 1653; after his death, she married John Evarts on May 27, 1663. She had no children by either of this husbands.

The Bradley family was from West Riding, Yorkshire, England, and were staunch
Cromwell men. Sir William's title and the right to bear arms were conferred
by Henry VIII.
[Since Henry VIII died in 1547 and Sir William was born in 1597,
this conferrence must have been to his father or grandfather.]
He was an officer in the Parliamentary Army. After his
wife died, Sir William entrusted his eldest son, William, to
Theophilus Eaton, William Davenport, and a small band of
dedicated men to sailed to the New World in 1638 to found a new colony.
