In January, 2003, Wayne wrote the details for the following.

I've been living with my fiancé for two years. I've been a computer technician in health-related fields, a computer repair tech, and a teacher of basic Windows systems. I've also been a guitarist, lead singer, and writer of the songs "When I Get There" and "Let Us Be", along with other recordings of the band "Stone Soup". I was a promoter, lightman, crowd greeter, part-time back-up singer, and part of the road crew for the rock group Rakis based in California. I also wrote a poem called "Sands of Time".

I was a busboy and contracted spinal meningitis from handling dishes. After weeks of intensive care, I moved back with my ailing parents in Michigan. Here I met my fiancé.
