584–585.  Caleb Carr was born in London, England, on Thursday, December 9, 1624, and died in America on December 17, 1695. Easton Ann was born in about 1631, and died _____. They were married in Rhode Island before 1654. He is the son of Benjamin and Martha (Hardington) Carr. They had no children.

His second marriage was to Mercy Vaughan. She was born in _____ in 1631, and died in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 21, 1675. They had 11 children:

i. Nicholas Carr was born on October 22, 1654, and died on February 17, 1708/9. He married Ann Easton; children: Nicholas, Joseph, Benjamin, Margaret, Jane, Caleb, Mercy, Rebecca, Ann, Thomas, and Benjamin.
ii. Mercy Carr was born on April 6, 1656, and died in about 1660. She died in childhood.
iii. Caleb Carr was born on August 23, 1657, and died on October 10, 1700. He married Deborah Sayles; children: John, unknown, Mercy, Benjamin, Daniel, Deborah, Robey, Rachel, and Sayles.
iv. Samuel Carr [#292]: He was born in Newport, Rhode Island Colony, on December 15, 1659, and died probably on Long Island, New York, before 8 Mar 1693/4.
v. Mary Carr was born on January 1, 1660/61, and died in 1717. She married Thomas Paine; they had no children.
vi. John Carr was born in about 1664, and died in 1717. He married Waite Easton; children: John, Ann, Samuel, Caleb, John, Francis, and Patience.
vii. Edward Carr was born in about Jun 1667, and died on December 28, 1711. On 6 Aug 1686 he and Hannah Stanton were married; children: Edward, Hannah, Mary, Marcy, Avis, Patience, James, Phebe, and Sarah.
viii. Francis Carr was born in about 1678, and died in 1717. On 18 Jun 1700 he and Damaris Arnold were married; child: Sarah.
ix. James Carr was born in about 1680, and died after 1701. His wife is unknown; child: Caleb,
x. Sarah Carr was born in 1682, and died on February 8, 1765. She married John Hammett on 10 Jan 1704/05; children: John, Mercy, Thomas, Sarah, Elizabeth, and James.
xi. Elizabeth Carr was born in about 1684, and died _____. She married John Godfrey on 28 May 1701; children: Mary, John, Caleb, and Elizabeth.

His third marriage was to Sarah Clarke in about 1677. She took the name Sarah Carr. She was born in 1651, and died in 1706. They had no children.

Caleb left England on May 9, 1635, on the Elizabeth and Ann with his brother, Robert, and arrived in Rhode Island.
