664–665. Samuel Alling was born in New Haven, Connecticut Colony, on Thursday, March 24, 1670, and died about 1744. Sarah Sackett was born in New Haven on Tuesday, December 26, 1665. He is the son of John and Elena (Bradley) Alling. She is the daughter of John and Agnes (Tinkham) Sackett. They had eight children:

| ii. | John Alling was born in New Haven on January 20, 1697/8, and died about 1746. He married Patience Mix, daughter of Caleb and Hannah (Chedsey) Mix, on December 26, 1723 or 1724 (Jacobus: "1723/4") in New Haven. | |
| iii. | Lydia Alling was born in New Haven on January 23, 1699/1700, baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven Colony, on January 30, 1699/1700, and died on October 13, 1783.
