816–817.  Jeremiah Chaplin was born in Rowley, Massachusetts Colony, America, on Tuesday, July 27, 1680, and died in Rowley on December 17, 1763. Ann Kilbourne was born in Rowley on Sunday, November 28, 1680, and died in Rowley on August 1, 1751. They were married in Rowley on Sunday, February 28, 1703. She took the name Ann Chaplin. He is the son of Joseph and Elizabeth ( West) Chaplin. She is the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Trumble) Kilbourne. They had 15 children:

i. Mercy Chaplin was born in Rowley on April 5, 1705.
ii. Jonathan Chaplin was born in Rowley on February 16, 1706/7.
iii. Mary Chaplin was born in Rowley on August 14, 1709.
iv. Mehetabel Chaplin was born in Rowley on October 14, 1711, and died in Rowley on October 21, 1711. She died at one week old.
v. Joseph Chaplin was born in Rowley on February 15, 1712, and died in Rowley on February 20, 1712. He died at less than a week old. [Remember that at this time, the year changed on March 25, not January 1.]
vi. Joseph Chaplin was born in Rowley on January 13, 1716.
vii. David Chaplin [#408]: He was born in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts, U.S.A., on June 13, 1714, and died in Lunenburgh, Worcester County, Massachusetts, U.S.A., in February, 1770.
viii. Daniel Chaplin was born in Rowley on April 5, 1719, and died in Rowley on April 15, 1719. He died at 10 days old.
ix. Ebenezer Chaplin was born in Rowley on July 3, 1720.
x. Anne Chaplin was born in Rowley on October 15, 1721.
xi. Elizabeth Chaplin was born in Rowley on March 17, 1723, and died in Rowley on May 3, 1723. She died in infancy.
xii. Jeremiah Chaplin was born in Rowley on January 3, 1724, and died in Rowley on July 11, 1736. He died at age 11.
xiii. Elizabeth Chaplin was born in Rowley on April 20, 1729.
xiv. Sarah Chaplin was born in Rowley on July 27, 1730, and died in Rowley on July 27, 1780. She died on her 50th birthday.
xv. Lucy Chaplin was born in Rowley about 1733, and died in Rowley on July 11, 1736. She died at age 3.
