8BBC. Wilma Kathryn Winchester was born in Walton Junction, Grand Traverse County, Michigan, on Friday, April 7, 1916. John Wiltzer was born on Monday, May 27, 1907, and died in Traverse City, Michigan, in April, 1971. They were married in Crystal, Montcalm County, Michigan, on Thursday, September 28, 1933. She took the name Wilma Kathryn Wiltzer. She is the daughter of Clyde Henry and Harriet Elizabeth (Jolly) Winchester. He is the son of Henry and Kathryn (Selvius) Wiltzer. They had four children:

Her second marriage was to Emery Johnson. He was born on Monday, February 28, 1916, and died in Cadillac on March 4, 1989. They had no children.
Wilma's family moved to Grand Rapids when she was about six years old, then moved back north to Cadillac when she was about 18.
John was the brother of Beth Wiltzer who married Earl Gamble.
Wilma had a successful surgery for a brain aneurysm in 1996. She lost some of
her memory but it slowly returned with time.
