8EB.  David Elton Lilly was born in Byron Center, Kent County, Michigan, on Monday, April 18, 1887, and died in Calgary, Alberta, on September 22, 1978. His wife was Viola Beggs of Linwood, Ontario He is the son of Grove and Alma (Gilbert) Lilly. They had two children:

i. Doris Viola Lilly [#8EBA]: She was born in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada, on October 10, 1927.
ii. Alma Lilly [#8EBB]: She was born in Alberta, Canada, on December 28, 1931.

Elton lived in Alberta, Canada, and would occasionally visit relatives in the Kent County area. He was the business manager of his father's large farm and also spent much time in the field. The back of one picture indicates that he was called "Eddie".
