Henrietta and Percy's granddaughter, Susan Clark, wrote [2002]: I remember my grandparents in Vulcan from visits when I was a child—we sometimes went to Vulcan for Christmas and other family events or just for the weekend—my grandparents had moved into town by the time I was visiting. Aunty Ruth and Uncle Benny lived on the family farm at that point so I remember visiting them on their farm, Dad and Ruth's sister, Aunty Eileen and Uncle Ivan Haga, on their farm, and then gramma and grampa in town (Vulcan) at their home. My parents have the beautiful old diningroom table and chairs (mahogany, I think) that used to be in my grandparent's home in Vulcan. It's a huge old carved table with many leaves, and the chairs used to have leather seats I think, but had to be redone. I do remember the house in town had kind of a sunroom on the front with old wicker chairs in it, and you went up this little narrow staircase to get to a bedroom on the second floor. I remember my grandmother (Henrietta) having a great sense of humor. I don't know what name she went by since I just called her gramma.
