He's the vice pre-si-dent,
    but he has fee-lings, too,
Folks whis-per "It is e-vi-dent
    that Dick is loo-king blue;
His wife claims that all day
    that all he does is mope,
He says to-day he'll take some rights a-way,
    that is how he'll cope.
The tab-loids say he must be fee-ling sick,
    the truth is that I'm just a mo-pey Dick.

He's the brains of the out-fit,
    we all know that's true,
Un-like "Ge-ni-ous" George"
    at least he has an I Q;
When you are in the sha-dow
    of a Tex-as hick,
Then you, too, would be-come
    a mo-pey Dick.

And com-ments that he's blue
    at him are of-ten hurled,
At him, yes, the most po-wer-ful man
    in the whole wide world.
Do you know why he's glum?
    do you know what is wrong?
In his six years he's ne-ver had his own
    spoof in Hex-a-gon.

While Bush gets big parts, he gets a swift kick,
    On stage folks all scream: "Run, it's Mo-pey Dick."

I'm a na-tu-ral ac-tor
    with ta-lents ga-lore,

Do we let him on stage?
    No, we're are loc-king the door;
And while it's true that he's
    bo-ring as an old brick,
There's much, much more to me than Mo-pey Dick.

For years they hid him well,
    in un-dis-closed lo-ca-tions,
He coul-dn't sing and coul-dn't dance,
    That caused me great fru-stra-tion.
We've kept him so far down,
    You might find it sur-pri-sing,
To hear the lengths that we have all gone to
    To keep poor Dick from ri-sing.

But that will change 'cause he has a new shtick.
    It's his turn to dance, So make way for Mo-pey Dick.

(Dance)

Thank you for this chance
    to act for you to-night,

He loves to sing and dance here in
    the Hex-a-gon spot-light.
He's good at be-ing mean,
    it's his job to dis-dain,
Tho he ex-cels at be-ing e-vil, yet,
    I'd ra-ther en-ter-tain.

He may not be that fun-ny or that slick,
    But put him on the stage and he is
        one ve-ry hap-py mo-pey Dick.
Mo-pey Dick!
