A Traveler's True Confession

Lyrics by Liv Violette
© 2005

Note: The version of this song that was selected for use in the 2006 Hexagon show was the one that Liv wrote the music for. This was my version of the music (which was not selected.)

This can be performed in front of the curtain.
Characters: 2
  1. Woman: A female airline traveler
  2. Man: A security guy
Set
: Could be none. Or could be a small table and a doorway for the metal detector.
Music: Probably piano, bass and drums only since it will be done very freely.

        Introduction
Woman: All my friends think I'm in-sane,
That I love tra-ve-ling by plane,
  They find go-ing through se-cu-ri-ty a bore,
But I make my re-ser-va-tion,
With-out a mo-ment's he-si-ta-tion,
  Be-cause that's the part of fly-ing I a-dore.

        Rhythmically
I an-ti-ci-pate
The long lines and the wait,
‘Cause it all gets real-ly great
  When it's my turn.
As I show them my I-D,
My heart beats so ra-pid-ly,
  My face is flush,
  My sto-mach starts to churn.

At x-ray I'm on fire,
I'm a-qui-ver with de-sire,
And my bra is un-der-wire
  To ring the bell.
My purse is on the belt,
So, here's ho-ping I get felt:
  O come, O come,
  Im-ma-nu-el.
The metal detector alarm goes off,
      she screams "Yes!", and
      starts taking her clothes off.

Oh, now - take - off my wrap,
Take off my shoes - and take off my cap,
And please give - my - belt a snap,
  Oh, that's so thril-ling.
A strip - search - is my hope,
I real--ly - love the grope;
  I'm all yours,
  Take a-ny-thing, 'cause I am wil-ling.

Here comes the rub-ber glove,
It's what I've been drea-ming of;
It re-minds me of a love,
  That once was mine.
Man, spoken: As-sume po-si-tion, spread your feet,
Woman: Oh, you've made my day com-plete,
  The phal-lic wand
  Will sim-ply be di-vine.

Oh, please, - please - do it slow,
That's right, move - it - to and fro,
As - up - my - leg you go
  And please, don't let off.
Now - go - out each arm,
O God, if I hear - the a-larm
  At my un--der--wi-re bra,
  I sure will . . .
The wand alarm goes off as he passes it up her midriff, she has an orgasmic scream and shudder, the stage lights flash a few times. The security guy, who has been somewhat baffled by her spontaneous gyrations during the wanding, is now taken aback. He says:
"Ma'am, Ma'am, are you all right?",
during which she has instantly composed herself as if nothing has happened and says, matter-of-factly:
"Why yes, everything is just fine."
Then she looks at her watch in a very businesslike manner and says:
"Hmmm, half an hour 'til boarding. I've got time to do this again."
